Pearl White Teeth

Teeth whitening or Teeth Bleaching is a common procedure to attain the pearl white teeth effect.

Teeth whitening is a cosmetic procedure that aims to lighten the color of teeth and improve
their overall appearance. The process involves using various whitening agents, techniques,
and products to remove stains, discoloration, and yellowing from the teeth, resulting in a
brighter and whiter smile.

There are two main types of teeth whitening procedures:

In-Office Teeth Whitening:

This is performed by a dentist or dental professional in a dental office setting. The dentist applies a high-concentration whitening gel or solution to the teeth, which is then activated using a special light or laser. The process typically takes approximately one to two hours and can result in immediate and significant whitening effects.

At-Home Teeth Whitening:

This method involves using over-the-counter or professional-grade teeth whitening products at home. These products typically contain lower concentrations of whitening agents and are applied to the teeth using trays, strips, or gels. The whitening process usually takes place over a period of days or weeks and requires regular use to achieve gradual whitening results.

Teeth whitening can be an effective way to improve the appearance of discolored or stained teeth, but it is important to note that not all teeth respond equally to whitening treatments.

At Legacy dental we perform teeth whitening procedures regularly. We use German
technologies: Zoom Teeth whitening and Flash Teeth whitening varying as per the individual
requirements.

Common questions for teeth whitening:

  • Is it painful? Tooth whitening is a relatively painless procedure. There may be some
amount of discomfort due to a prolonged mouth opening time.
  • How long does it take? Varying from case to case it can take anywhere between
    30min to 1 hour
  • Is it an invasive procedure? There is no tooth cutting involved in bleaching so it is
    minimally invasive
  • Will I have sensitivity after the procedure? Some people may feel a small degree of
sensitivity to hot and cold food for a few days. This will subside within a short
    amount of time
